Depending on where or if your kids go to school, you might be heading into a very long weekend — which means extra time to plan what to do and, of course, what to wear. With a new month and season upon us, it feels like the perfect moment to highlight some casual winter basics that are ideal for a weekend of lounging, adventuring, or anything in between.

Personally, I love staying local when we have a few extra days off. There's something so comforting about slow mornings, grabbing a coffee or lunch, and soaking up Sydney’s often-lovely winter weather.
