What To Buy in July

We’ve hit the mid-way point of the year, which is also officially known as “Marisa is well and truly over winter fashion now.” What started off as a mild flirtation with denim, knits and outerwear has now turned into a sordid breakup, where I’m ready to move on and start new relationships with sandals, cute shorts and dresses. I’m not going to lie, shopping right now is a bit of a struggle for me, but thankfully, there are still a few exciting things to shop now before we delve into new season goodness.

Pants are still dominating at the moment (I did a big search for dresses and skirts for this edit, and I could barely find a handful of items I deemed as worthy), and the choice for jackets and knitwear is abundant. I really love the simplicity of this jacket and just know it would feel like heaven on the skin.

I also found a couple of matching sets that I’m really drawn to (this is both comfy and chic, and this is super elegant for an after-hours event), very cute flats (the Prada loafers!), and stripes aplenty (I love this colour combo).
